From the perspective of off-road tire crane products, the technology of off-road tire cranes is much easier in terms of the complexity of the structure of 2-axle to 4-axle than all-terrain products using tire-type chassis. Using relatively low-cost technology to achieve 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steering off-road tire cranes can play an important role in narrow, rugged, and restricted construction sites. Off-road tire crane products of different tonnages can be widely used in places such as ports, docks, stations, airports, and urban center construction sites.

It has the characteristics of off-road driving and lifting operation with load. The overall dimensions of the vehicle are 13100×3300×3800mm, and the total weight is 41.5 tons.
At the 2014 CONEXPO exhibition, the new RT770E tire crane from Grove was unveiled. This crane has a lifting capacity of 70 tons and has the longest 42-meter main boom of its kind. It is understood that the main boom telescopic system of RT770E provides selectable "A" and "B" modes. One has the greatest lifting capacity, and the other has the greatest stability. In this way, the operator can easily select the most suitable mode according to the specific hoisting operation.
RT77OE crane is powered by Cummins 6.7-liter engine, with four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. It can be equipped with a folding jib from 10.1 meters to 17.1 meters, which is matched with the main boom. The length of the boom reaches 59.1 meters and the working radius reaches 43.9 meters.

At present, the domestic cross-country tire crane market is still in the developing stage. Compared with the huge truck crane market, off-road tire cranes have a very limited share in it. However, in the frontline market of leasing and hoisting construction, as people's vision continues to widen, and the foreign off-road tire crane brands that have entered China in the past have opened up a space for the current off-road tire crane market.
