On November 18, the 2021 special equipment safety promotion enterprise and forklift safety skill competition opened at cuishanhu passenger station. Vice Mayor Tan Xiaohua attended the event.

The event includes four links: opening ceremony, safety promotion of special equipment into enterprises, skill competition and award.

The activity emphasized that first, all units should attach great importance to the safety management of special equipment and strictly implement the requirements of laws and regulations; Second, all units should actively tap and cultivate more "sophisticated" skilled talents of special equipment, and drive more special equipment operators to operate strictly and safely; Third, we should strive to make this competition an influential, high-quality and characteristic event, build an event brand with Kaiping characteristics, and carry forward the "model worker spirit" and "craftsman spirit".

In the process of promoting the safety of special equipment into enterprises, Kaiping Market Supervision Bureau requires the users of special equipment to act in strict accordance with the law, achieve "three implementation, two certificates, one inspection and one plan", and fully implement the main responsibility of enterprise safety production.

The competition attracted 42 employees from Kaiping enterprises with special equipment operator certificates to sign up. As soon as the competition whistle sounded, 42 contestants appeared in turn according to the order of drawing lots and staged a skill competition. The competition mainly tests the proficiency of the contestants in driving forklifts around piles, destacking and stacking, and has strict standard requirements for starting, driving, parking and loading and unloading. The contestants checked the safety of the vehicle, smoothly entering the fork and accurately moving the stack. The whole process was skilled and standardized, and the forklift technology and safety awareness were implemented in place.

This competition is a centralized review of the skills and quality of forklift operators in our city. It also sets up a platform for forklift operators to show their post talents and learn skills, and effectively creates a working atmosphere of "comparison, learning, catching up, helping and Surpassing", which will drive more special equipment operators to operate safely and boost the safety work of special equipment in our city to a new level.
