What is "adaptation and mitigation"?
Adaptation and mitigation are two major countermeasures for human beings to deal with climate change. Mitigation refers to the emission reduction and exchange increase of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, which is the fundamental way to solve the problem of climate change. Adaptation is "coping with the actual or estimated climate change or impact by adjusting natural and human systems", which is the basic countermeasure to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages in response to the impact of climate change.

What is zero net emission technology
Net zero emission technology system refers to the main technology system to achieve net zero emission (see entry 8). The technology system of carbon neutralization vision is mainly composed of four types of technologies: zero carbon power system, low-carbon / zero carbon terminal energy consumption technology, negative emission and non-CO2 greenhouse gas emission reduction technology, of which the first three are important supports for the net zero emission technology system of CO2.

What is the significance of developing non fossil energy?
Non fossil energy refers to energy other than coal, oil, natural gas and other energy types formed through long-term geological changes and only for one-time use, including new energy and renewable energy, including nuclear energy, wind energy, solar energy, hydro energy, biomass energy, geothermal energy, marine energy and other renewable energy.
