Product Introduction

SOCMA 4t 7m telehandler

As a new kind of loading/unloading equipment with wide applications and high efficiency, HNT3007/3507/4007-4Z Telescopic Forklift (the Machine) is fitted with forklift and hook to realize hoisting and stacking of cargo containers, aloft work such as installation and inspection of lighting equipment in municipal engineering construction, as well as installation and pavement of underground pipes (such as water pipes and gas pipes). Besides, it is widely applied into the scenarios such as factory, station, wharf, freight yard, post and telecommunications, forestry farm, construction materials, warehouse, emergency rescue, hydraulic engineering and farm livestock.

Operation Safety Rules For Farm Telehandler

1. Driver’s qualification

The Machine should be operated by well-trained and designated drivers only.

2. Driver training outline includes:

a. Determine drivers with good physical conditions, working attitudes and capability.

b. Emphasize the safety of cargos, equipment, drivers and other personnel. Refer to the safety rules and explain the cause of preparing safety rules.

c. Explain the key points of safety in forklift and component design, such as load, mechanical limit, gravity center and stability.

d. Introduce the Machine, its function devices and functions, correct functioning and problems which may occur in wrong operation.

e. Organize supervised practicing of operation courses based on the simulated scenes prior to normal operation, such as stacking woods and lifting ceiling to the roof.

3. Driver’s responsibilities:

Drivers bear the responsibilities of safety operation, so they must read and master the operation manual of forklift, and follow the following safety and implementation rules:

4. Overview:

a. Driver should develop a habit of safety operation and be alert to dangers, in order to protect themselves as well as other personnel, the Machine and other materials, for the Machine can be endangered by misoperation.

b. Master the operation and functions of all control devices and instruments.

c. Do not start nor operate the Machine in other positions other than the driver’s position.

e. Master the Machine’s extreme use conditions and keep it under controlled status. Control the devices slowly and stably.

f. Keep the pedestrians safe at any conditions. Do not drive the Machine in front of fixed objects and personnel.

g. Nobody should stand or pass by under the lifting mechanism (loaded or no-load).

h. Approved personnel can sit on the Machine only. One safety seat must be arranged for the approved personnel.

i. Before leaving the driver seat, make sure to:

(1) Stop the Machine.

(2) Pull the speed control lever to neutral gear.

(3) Switch on the parking brake.

(4) Lower the load completely to the load bearing position.

(5) Stop the engine or turn off the control devices when the Machine is unattended.

(6) Place the wedge behind the wheel when the Machine is stopped on a slope.

(7) Inspect the net clearance carefully before driving the Machine under electric wire and bridge, or entering/leaving the building.

(8) Make judgment carefully while handling cargos, as the overhead guard can’t prevent all impacts even if it is designed for preventing dropping objects.

(9) Do not supplement accessories or change the Machine.

5. Running:

a. Abide by traffic rules (including the specified speed limit), keep a certain safety distance according to the driving speed and keep the Machine under control.

b. Give way to the pedestrians, ambulances, firefighting trucks or other vehicles under emergencies.

c. Do not overtake another forklift that drives at the same direction at the cross section, places with unclear sight or other dangerous locations.

d. When sight is blocked, reduce the driving speed and use the acoustic alarm device.

e. Where possible, cross the railway track at an oblique line, and do not park the Machine within 1,800 mm of the nearest steel rail.

f. Keep clear view on the driving path, observe other traffic vehicles, personnel and safety clearance.

g. Operate the Machine carefully at ramps.

h. Behave carefully when turning the Machine on a ramp or slope.

i. The load and load-bearing device must lean backwards (if allowed) on all ramps, and they should be uplifted to the height that is enough for passing the pavement.

j. For forklifts fitted with rear wheel steering, the tail turning radius is increased and driver should master this characteristic to ensure operation safety.

k. In all running conditions, drive the Machine at a proper speed to stop it safely.

l. In running process, the Machine’s load-bearing device or load should stay at the low position, or should lean backwards if possible. Load lifting is not required, except for stacking work.

m. Start or stop the Machine stably. Avoid load shifting or forklift overturning during turning or reverse running.

n. Slow down the Machine and drive it at a proper speed on the slippering ground.

o. Avoid crossing the loose objects on the pavement.

p. Reduce the Machine to a safe speed, and rotate the steering wheel stably and quickly when turning the corner. Besides, rotate the steering wheel at a moderate and even speed when driving the Machine at a low speed.

q. Stable or safe loads can be handled only. The eccentric loads which fail to be placed at the middle position must be operated with much caution.

r. Loads within the Machine’s lifting capacity range can be transferred only.
