How to do maintenance for a electric excavator?

Maintenance guide

Do not carry out any inspection and maintenance not described in SOCMA Manual.

Hour meter reading

Check the hour meter reading every day to see if it's time for maintenance. 

SOCMA wearing parts

Use the SOCMA wearing parts specified in the Parts Manual as replacement parts.

Windshield washer fluid

Use vehicle windshield washer fluid and make sure no dirt gets in.

Clean lubricating oil

Use clean grease. And to keep the oil or grease bottle outlet clean, do not let impurities mixed into the oil and grease.

Check the drained oil and used filter element

After changing the oil or filter element, check the old oil and filter element for metal chips and impurities. If large amount of metal scraps and impurities are found, report to the supervisor and take appropriate measures.

Welding instructions

·Turn off the motor start switch.

· Do not use voltage greater than 200V continuously.

· Connect the grounding cable within 1m (3.3ft) from the welding position. If the grounding cable is close to the instrument, connector, etc., the instrument will fail.

· Avoid the seal or bearing between the welding position and the grounding point.

· Do not use the working device pin or the area around the hydraulic cylinder as the grounding point.
