Safe transportation for SOCMA crawler excavators
When loading and unloading the machine from a truck or trailer, there will be a risk of the machine tipping over.
· When transporting the machine on public roads, be sure to comply with local regulations.
· Transport the machine with a suitable truck or trailer.
Pay attention to the following items when loading and unloading the machine:
1) Choose a solid and flat ground.
2) Be sure to adopt the loading platform or springboard.
3) There must be a signalman when loading and unloading the machine.
4) When loading and unloading the machine, turn the automatic idle / acceleration selector and H / P mode switch to the OFF position, so as to avoid the unexpected increase of speed due to the unintentional operation of a control lever.
5) Be sure to select the slow mode of the travelling mode switch. In fast mode, the travelling speed will increase automatically.
6) Avoid turning when travelling up or down on the springboard, because it is very dangerous. If you have to turn, you must first return to the ground or the trunk, adjust the direction of travel, and then travel again.
7) When travelling up or down on the springboard, except the travelling control rod, other control rods can not be operated.
8) At the junction of the top of the springboard and the trunk is a sudden bulge. Be careful when you drive past this place.
9) When the upper rotary platform rotates, it is necessary to prevent the injury caused by the overturning of the machine.
10) Keep the small arm in the retracted position, and let the upper rotary platform rotate slowly, so that the machine has the best stability.
11) Firmly connect the chain or cable to the frame of the machine.
