The maintenance contents are divided in new vehicle running-in and regular maintenance; regular maintenance includes maintenance per 8h, 50h, 125h, 250h, 600h, 1200h and 2000h.

3.1 New Vehicle Running-in

The new machine must pass the running-in before use. Start from idling, then increase the load gradually to have friction of all friction parts, in order to prolong the Machine’s service life.

3.1.1 New vehicle running-in (60h)

●Carry out new vehicle running-in for 60h, including two forward gears and one backward gear. Running-in should be arranged in each gear.

●The load applied in running-in period should not exceed 70% of rated load.

●Pay attention to the Machine’s lubricating, replace or inject the lubricating grease regularly.

●Pay attention to the temperature of gearbox, front axle, tyre, tyre shell and brake hub. For any overheat, find out the cause and do troubleshooting.

●Inspect the fastening of bolts and nuts.

●Avoid too fast action in the running-in period.

3.1.2 Carry out the following inspections 8h after new vehicle running-in:

●Inspect whether the bolts and nuts at connection position are loose, especially the bolts of diesel engine cylinder cover, bolts of exhaust pipe, fixed bolts of front/rear axle, rim nuts and connecting bolts of transmission shaft.

●Inspect whether the revolving parts have abnormal sounds.

●Inspect whether instrument reading, lighting and steering signals are normal.

●Inspect the sealing of hydraulic system and brake system.

●Inspect whether braking and steering are flexible and reliable.

●Inspect whether rack device has normal action.

●Inspect the looseness of diesel engine fan belt, general belt and air compressor belt.

●Whether the control lever and accelerator pull/drag hose are connected, fixed, flexible and reliable.

●Inspect the battery electrolyte proportion, storage capacity or indicator color, fasten the battery connector lug.

3.1.3 Carry out the following work after running-in

●Clean primary/secondary filter and fuel filter.

●Replace the gearbox engine oil.

●Replace the diesel engine oil.

3.2 Regular Maintenance

3.2.1 Every 8hrs

●Do visual inspection around the machine to see if there’s fault and oil leakage.

●Inspect the engine oil level of engine.

●Inspect the oil level of hydraulic oil tank.

●Inspect the light and instrument.

●Inspect the tyre pressure and damage

3.2.2 Every 50hrs or weekly

●Fasten the connecting bolts of front/rear transmission shaft.

●Inspect the gearbox oil level.

●Inspect the emergency and parking brake; make adjustment if it is improper.

●Inspect the tyre pressure and damage.

●Inject grease to the rack hinge point, transmission shaft, chain and other bearings.

3.2.3 Every 125hrs or semimonthly

●Clean the engine cylinder head.

●Inspect the battery liquid level, apply thin layer of Vaseline at the joint.

●Inspect the oil level of hydraulic oil tank.

3.2.4 Every 250h or monthly

●Inspect the tightening torque of rim fixing bolts.

●Inspect the oil level of front/rear axle.

●Inspect the stress welds and set bolts of rack, frame and rim whether there are cracks and looseness.

●Replace the engine oil (depending on oil quality and use conditions of engine).

●Inspect the tightness and damage of engine fan belt, compressor and generator belt.

●Adjust the pedal brake and parking brake.

●Drain the water in accumulator.

3.2.5 Every 600hrs or trimonthly

●Inspect whether gearbox engine oil is clean.

●Fasten the connecting bolts of front/rear axle and frame.

●The engine oil and filter element must be replaced.

●Inspect the clearance of engine valve.

●Clean the oil fueling and suction filter screen of diesel tank.

●Clean the oil fueling, return and inhalation filter of hydraulic oil tank.

3.2.6 Every 1,200hrs or semiannual

●Replace gearbox gear oil, oil filter and oil pan.

●Replace the diesel filter of engine.

●Inspect the temperature and pressure meters.

●Inspect the tightening of engine air inlet/exhaust pipe.

●Inspect the running conditions of engine.

●Replace the hydraulic oil, clean the oil tank filter and oil suction pipe.

●Replace the gear oil of front/rear axle.

3.2.7 Every 2,000hrs or annual

●Inspect the pedal brake and parking brake. Where necessary, dismantle the friction plate to inspect its wear.

●Inspect the sealing and spring elements of brake booster, inspect the braking sensitivity.

●Inspect the sealing of distribution valve and working cylinder by measuring the natural settlement amount of cylinder.

●Inspect the flexibility of steering system.
