The selection of vehicle type and configuration should start from the following aspects:
The basic functions of forklift truck include horizontal handling, stacking/taking, loading/unloading, and picking.According to the enterprise to achieve the operating functions can be initially determined from the above models.In addition, the special operation function will affect the specific configuration of the forklift, such as carrying paper roll, iron water, etc., which requires the forklift installation equipment to complete the special function.
The working requirements of forklift truck include the general requirements of pallet or cargo specifications, lifting height, operating channel width and climbing gradient, etc. Meanwhile, the operating efficiency (different models have different efficiency) and operating habits (such as the habit of riding or standing driving) should also be considered.
If an enterprise needs to move goods or warehouses that have environmental requirements such as noise or exhaust emissions, consideration should be given to selecting models and configurations.If it is in the cold storage or in the environment with explosion protection requirements, the forklift configuration should also be cold storage type or explosion protection type.Carefully examine the locations of forklift operations, and consider possible problems, such as whether the height of the door has an impact on the forklift when it is put into storage;The influence of elevator height and bearing capacity on forklift when entering or leaving the elevator;In the upstairs work, whether the floor load meets the corresponding requirements, and so on.

If the forklift truck operates in the warehouse, the channel width required by different models is different, and the lifting capacity is also different, which will lead to changes in warehouse layout, such as changes in cargo storage capacity.

The market volume of different models is different, and their after-sales support capacity is also different. For example, the low driving three-way stacking forklift and high driving three-way stacking forklift belong to the narrow channel forklift series, both of which can finish stacking and retrieving in the very narrow channel (1.5-2.0m).However, the former cab cannot be improved, so the operating vision is poor and the working efficiency is low.Because the latter can fully cover the former's functions, and the performance is superior, the latter's sales volume in the European market is 4 to 5 times higher than the former, while in China it is more than 6 times higher.Therefore, most suppliers focus on the development of high-order three-way stacking forklifts, while the low-order three-way stacking forklifts are only used in the condition of small tonnage and low lifting height (generally within 6 meters).When the market sales volume is very small, its after-sales service engineer quantity, engineer experience, parts storage water equal service ability will be relatively weak.
