Prolong the life of the excavator!

In the process of equipment utilization, in addition to minimizing the impact of harmful factors, we should also ensure normal working loads when using construction machinery. Today Xiaobian is going to introduce some tips for extending the service life of the equipment for you.

1. Ensure normal working load

The size and nature of working load of construction machinery have important influence on the loss process of machinery. Generally speaking, the wear of parts increases proportionally with the increase of load. When the load on the part is higher than the average design load, the wear will increase. In addition, when other conditions are equal, the stable load is smaller than the dynamic load, the failure is less and the life is lower.

The test shows that the wear of the cylinder will increase by two times when the engine works under unstable load compared with the stable load. Under normal load, the engine has lower failure rate and longer life.  On the contrary, the fault rate of overloaded engines increases significantly, and the life expectancy decreases. Therefore, the mechanical wear volume that is often in a wide range of load changes is greater than that of a continuous stable machine.

2, reduce various kinds of corrosion

Corrosion is caused by the chemical or electrochemical action of the metal surface and the surrounding medium. This corrosive action will not only affect the normal work of the mechanical appearance equipment, but also corrode the parts inside the machinery. Such as rain, the chemical substances in the air and so on through the mechanical parts of the external channels, cracks and so on into the machinery inside, corrosion mechanical parts, accelerating mechanical wear and tear, increase mechanical failure.

Because this kind of corrosion is sometimes invisible and untouches, it is easy to be ignored. In use, the management and operating personnel should take effective measures to reduce the effect of chemical corrosion on machinery according to the local weather conditions and air pollution at that time. The emphasis is to prevent the chemical composition of rain and air from the intrusion of the machinery and minimize the operation in the rain.

3, reduce the effect of mechanical impurities

Mechanical impurities generally refer to metallic materials and wear products produced by non-metallic substances such as dust and soil and engineering machinery during their use. Once these impurities enter the machine inside, reach the machine's matching surface, the harm is very big, not only makes the relative motion out block, accelerates the wear of the parts, but also will scratch the matching surface, destroy the lubricating oil film, make the parts temperature rise and the lubricating oil deteriorate.

It is measured that the wear rate of the first piston ring of the engine will be 2.5 times larger than the normal value when the mechanical impurity is increased to 0.15% in the lubrication, and the life of the rolling shaft will decrease by 80%-90% when it enters the impurity particles. Therefore, for engineering machinery working in harsh environment and complicated conditions, one must use high quality, auxiliary parts and lubricating oil and grease to block the source of harmful impurities. Two the mechanical protection work of the work site should be done well to ensure that the corresponding organization can work normally and prevent various impurities entering the machinery. . Repair the defective machinery as far as possible to the normal repair place. When the site is repaired, the protective measures should also be taken to prevent the replacement parts from being contaminated by dust and other impurities before entering the machinery.

4, reducing the influence of temperature

At work, the temperature of each component has its own normal range. If the temperature of the cooling water is 80-90 C, the temperature of the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic transmission system is 30-60 C, which will accelerate the wear of the parts, cause the lubricating oil to deteriorate, and cause the change of the material properties and so on.

Tests show that the main transmission gears and bearings of various construction machinery operate in lubricating oil at -5 degrees C, and wear 10-12 times higher than that in lubricating oil at 3 degrees centigrade. But when the temperature is too high, it will accelerate the deterioration of the lubricating oil, for example, when the oil temperature is over 55-60 C, the oil temperature will be doubled when the oil temperature rises by 5 degrees C.

Therefore, during the use of engineering machinery, it is necessary to prevent overloading operation at low temperature, ensure the normal operation of low speed preheating stage, make the machine run or work after the required temperature, and do not ignore its important role because of no problems at that time; two During the process, we should check the values on various thermometers regularly, find out the problems and stop immediately to check them.

For reasons that can not be found for a time, they must not be treated without mechanical treatment. In normal work, we should pay attention to check the working condition of the cooling system. For water cooled machinery, it must be checked before daily work, adding cooling water, and cleaning the dust on the air cooling system regularly for air cooling machinery, so as to ensure the smooth flow of the heat dissipation duct.
